DESCRIPTION:This week's SL workshop is on tonight, March 2, 2009 at 14
 :00SLT/PST at Insula Docta TCD (slurl http://tinyurl.com/ddnypn). The 
 workshop is hosted by Josmas Flores. He will walk us through the SLood
 le HUD, an amazing virtual environment learning system that mashups Mo
 odle and Second Life. “Imagine a Moodle course that, if you wanted, 
 could turn into a proper 3D interactive classroom with all your Moodle
  resources available to your students in the virtual world” (Google

 iented Dynamic Learning Environment.” It is a 3D online education sy
 stem for the virtual world of Second Life, based on the popular open-s
 ource course management system known as Moodle. The project is integra
 ting Moodle’s virtual learning environment into the 3D environment o
 f Second Life, adding the 3D interactive capabilities of the virtual w
 orld atop Moodle’s course-management tools.\n\nSloodle provides a ra
 nge of tools for supporting learning and teaching to the immersive vir
 tual world; tools which are integrated with a tried and tested leading
  web-based learning management system (Moodle). Such tools include:\n\
 n Web-intercom.\n Registration booth.\n Quiz tool and 3D Drop
  Box. Assess in Second Life – grade in Moodle.\n Choice tool.\n�
