The University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science and Alliance Library System are offering
non-credit courses for librarians and Educators interested in virtual worlds. Here are the

This sounds very interesting. I was reading today about a newspaper in Rochester, NY that has created a game that is an alternative reality. It is helping them to shore up readers. Newspaper are trying all sorts of things to survive. I would rather them use these technologies rather than a Predictive Dialer to put calls in at dinner. Maybe there is some other form of Short Term Insurance for newspapers.
Sounds like great classes, especially the one about Working with a Class in Second Life.
