Bio: I began my career in recreation, designing fun activities and events for children. I eventually moved into teaching, primarily in bilingual classrooms and “newcomer” centers. I spent some time working out of the classroom as an educational consultant, training teachers and writing curriculum for various school districts and publishing companies. In the administrative areas: I have served as Director of State and Federal Projects, a ‚ Global Projects Coordinator‚ (connecting students world wide via technology in meaningful projects) and site principal. I was a principal for five years in a dual immersion school and this will be my fifth year at Bel Aire Elementary. One focus of this school is the integration of technology in meaningful learning experiences. To that end we have had the opportunity to partner with the creators of “Dizzywood”, a virtual world for elementary age students.

15:49] Buffy Beale: Great idea! the groups
15:49] Doomsday Sorbet: inSL wwith teachers "driving"

15:50] Aphilo Aarde: Hi Daisyblue!
15:50] Draxtor Despres: there is so much content

15:51] Doomsday Sorbet: yes, a question for LL. But looking in not "in"
15:51] Aphilo Aarde: They'd make it anew.
15:51] Profdan Netizen: Google Lively have any age restrictions?
