New Media Consortium's NMC Campus project hailed as the largest and most successful project in Second Life.

Linden Lab, makers of the Second Life® virtual world platform, published a very nice case study hailing the New Media Consortium's NMC Campus project as the largest and most successful in Second Life. The project, a collaboration of nearly 150 colleges and universities, receives an average of 1500 visitors daily, from some 55 countries around the globe.

The case study provides an overview of the effort and will be part of a series detailing successful projects from the corporate, education, healthcare, and government sectors. The NMC case study will be published in several languages, including English, Japanese, German, and French.
