Training Medical Professionals in Virtual Worlds
Will review what has been learned after teaching college nursing courses for almost a year using SL, and what big things are here now or are coming to education (specific and general) in SL from an group called MUVErs. Will discuss creation of easy 3D objects for learning, fast/specific orientation, SL group interaction, collaboration with other educators, and development of interactive sims that can be used in synchronous, asynchronous, or demonstration modes.
