WhyReef is live!!

The Field Museum's virtual coral reef is live! The reef learning environment, called WhyReef, just launched in Whyville.net You can access the reef directly (after an intro screen) at reef.whyville.netThe virtual reef project is funded by the MacFound DML and is our first major foray into VW education. I Dig Zambia: the fossil excavation begins....



I Dig Zambia continues in New York, Chicago, and Zambia. And so do our technical difficulties! I'll talk about those in a second, but first, our successes.



Its day 3 of IDZ and the teens are all getting to know each other better and finally met "their" scientists. They had a great call with the scientists and learned that some of the team has been trapped by a flooded river that they cannot cross. It will take several days to go… Continue

I Dig Zambia begins..........

We just launched the I Dig Zambia summer workshop! IDZ is the second iteration of a digital learning collaboration with the amazing NYC non-profit and our BFFs, Global Kids.
