Having lurked in the RezEd space for a long time, I have now posted my first discussion thread in the Forums. Inviting RezEd members to identify their most-recommended sites in SL could help provide a useful version of the iDP, an object designed to help distribute content.

The other reply I received didn't understand where I was going. I picture a rubric of sorts, that a class like mine (Ed 531, Teaching in Virtual Worlds from Boise State) could look at and say "Yeah, I have that skill set now" or "No, I don't feel proficient in this or this area yet." I imagine it will be something of a moving target as the technology and best practices evolve, but it's always good to have a baseline, I think. Thanks for writing!

yea.. I agree. I think Jonathon should create a forum. Or at least more clearly guide folks towards whatever venue he'd like to have folks contribute. I think he (Wainbrave) is asking for a more rigorous research agenda than is Barry. (Both valuable.. but different)
