- I am a recently-retired reference/instruction librarian who has also been teaching fully-online courses since 1996. Still teaching online courses! I'm interested in the use of technology for teaching and learning - and especially interested in how all of that applies to distance learning. I'm a resident of Second Life and I'm constantly impressed with how much collaboration and creativity goes on among the educational community there.
