- About Me:
- The World Affairs Council is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that has existed in Seattle for almost 60 years. We seek to raise awareness about global issues and facilitate learning and dialogue about the critical issues facing our world today. I work for the Council's education arm, Global Classroom. We run teacher professional development workshops, a summer institute for high school youth, and more. I hope to use virtual worlds to help teachers and students communicate and collaborate with their peers in other countries and learn more about the world beyond our borders.
