About Me:

I am school director and licensee of Nawattaphume International School Lampang and Nawattaphume International School Krabi, Thailand. Our schools are British Curriculum based catering for students from 17 countries. English is used as 'lingua franca' in all classrooms but we also offer foreign languages tuitions as elective courses for our students (Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, German and may be later Spanish).

I hold a PhD from Siegen University, Germany. I studied Comparative Literature (German, English, Italian), Linguistics: Syntax, Psycholinguistics: Language/Second Language Acquisition, ESL and Teaching German as a Second Language (DaF).

I still teach German as a Second Language (Primary/Secondary Level) in one of my schools, albeit I mainly function as administrator. I used to teach college level for nine years at Payap University, Thailand before founding my own schools. I love teaching and I like my students. I still teach as guest lecturer from time to time at Payap University.

I would like to join network of teachers/educators who are experienced in teaching foreign languages. That would help us develop interesting learning programmes for our students.
