About Me:
I am a Virtual Reference Librarian at The University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus.
I am facilitator of The Information Professionals Community of Practice in Second Life (PIENSL). Our group belongs to the group of communities of practice of the University of Puerto Rico Library System.which aim is as follows:

“Accepting the call to be part of the communities practice we engage us in the effort to advance the presence and influential drive of this field in the academic, social and cultural life of the country. We are clear in need and possibilities of contributing to the formation of a citizen who has the competences to handle the information in a critical and creative form. That is the intention of this tool, to contribute to a better country. Nothing more but nothing less.”
