Great, Scott, thanks for getting back to me so soon. I will muster up my group and see what times would be best.

I'll get back to you in a couple of days.

Hi Scott, I got your name from Graham Stanley of the British Council in Spain. Graham and I, together with about 20 other members, are all partners of an EU funded project for the development of teaching and learning materials for language learning in Second LIfe.

I have heard about your fantastic Chinese college. I was wondering if you could take me and a few of my project partners on a guided tour of your space. I am actually a Monash graduate and I am glad to know that Monash is active inworld, especially when it comes to language education (I read Spanish and Russian at Monash but I know foreign languages have not been doing to well in Australia since my time).

I really look forward to hearing from you.

Well, Xillin Yifu sure sounds familiar....maybe we have met in world. I am just another soul trying to build a network here. I work for the College Center for Library Automation in Florida. We provide for our 28 Community Colleges access to research databases, a unified library catalog and a library management system. We have had a presence in Second Life for about 18 months and provide access to many of those services from within the virtual world. You can find us here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Eduisland%203/34/216/23

I offered you friendship...maybe we can help each other.
