Virtual Worlds? Is there a Star Trek world? I feel like I've entered Star Trek when using my iPhone, but really, this virtual world is new learning path. I tried Second Life last summer, but did not make it off the orientation island. I've got to do that. The virtual world has the potential for so many and so much -- a truly global interaction and collaboration. My hope is that access is available to all.
At PBS Teacher Connect, this site was mentioned, and I hope I will learn more about the virtual world in education.
Maybe I'll find that sock.
